Paul made it clear its not coming back so best to drop it.
However he did specifically say he would be open to a format if presented with one.

Something like this for example... cause I feel its going to these tabs to make it easier to navigate for mobile users.
In which case this spaces them out and can offer a cleaning looking page for navigating.

I would prefer the spacing as well instead of the cluster.

Yeah it seems the cluster is whats making it an eye sore for most.
