this might be one of the greatest currated lists i've ever seen, well done.

thanks but also impossible, previously mentioned got left out.. (like gladiator and the man from Earth) and other movies like John wick for action, Elf or Dumb & dumber for a couple comedies, probably so many movies that could go in a top 5 on a given day. :]

Quote
I probably say "He ain't gonna be in Rush Hour 3" a hundred times a year lol ( 🤣 )
i've only watched instellar one time, its def top 10 for me probably should be top 5. I've purposely not watched it again, waiting for the right moment maybe when my son gets older.

haha, Jackie Chan & tucker are legends for this movie series. chan was legend already ofc.

yeah similar situation. people abuse the soundtrack too much.
I'm waiting for rewatch of interstellar until I almost forgot about what it is like... great theme and composition, but not when it is used by 2 billion people x10 times in tiktok video culture formats for gods sake... until then as soon as a video have it on, it is paus/downvote/move on ... hopefully the algorithms learn eventually that I don't watch anything with that track in the background.

By the way they say a rush hour 4 is on the way this year

a top 5 per top 7 favorite genre would be easier.

animated/cartoon
comedy
action
adventure
mystery
sci Fi
hmm.. yeah

anyway gonna check out some names from this thread some day.

Your list is awesome! :hail:

1. NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind
2. Spirited Away
3 .Princess Mononoke
4. Grave of the Fireflies
5. Ponyo

I have most, if not all of the Studio Ghibli works. As like with David Lynch films and other directors that I love, every few years, I feel a need to watch as many as I can. They are story and animation treasures!

Wait, it was you who reminded me about that series years ago! Hah! Funny how things like that happen. I love all of the actors. Even the antagonists are ferocious. Let's not forget the priceless donut layouts!
