Naming your dog "Stay"

Henrietta would work well.

The females I've owned always seems more inclined to defensive aggressive type behavior. Not vicious, but annoying.

Had a male German shepherd lab mix, stray puppy from a pack of strays on a reservation from Dakota. Best dog ever. RIP Harry.

Just spend time with your pup to socialize them right. Most don't fulfill their 'pack' duties to their dogs, then they misbehave

I had an awesome female white German Shepherd when I was a young adult, we had trained her to stay with us and on our land, she was a damn good dog

Intelligence of breed probably helps too

Females are less dominant and more chill imo - male dogs will be waiting for you to make a mistake so they can take control of the pack at any time. I always gotta do dominance plays with my friends male dogs, show them fuckers whos boss.

Make sure to get er spayed so she doesnt bleed all over your house
