you could just d/l a working ad blocker and have zero ads for free
or you could financially support a greedy company who wants to force brain rot ads down ur throat all day

i guess they recently changed the lower tier youtube premium to have ads and now only the 13.99 version is totally ad free. ppl have been complaining about it past few days.

I'm aware about the change, but the thing that doesn't make sense is when I tell Nirjan that I don't get ads, he doesn't seem to think so.

probably based his info from youtube thumbnails instead of actually looking up it was only changed on the lower tier version. i used to use an adblock but one day they started to black screen and it actually took longer then just watching the ad for 5 seconds and skipping.

Yeah I used to use Adblock Plus for chrome until it stopped working. So I decided to pay for premium so I could also get the background music for awhile I was at work. Very convenient.

Firefox used to be good same with duck duck go. Brave is the best for no ad experience you can even use Google search within brave without the negatives

i used to pay 20$ a year to side load apps and used a custom youtube app that was ad free and let me minimize. you could also do it free but on ios you had to redo it weekly for each custom app it was a pain. 20$ a year for premium Spotify alone made it worth.

firefox is still good.
and way lighter than brave.
also brave is owned by a trash company that sold data to llm companies lol.
