BotW is absolutely amazing.

For me personally, it is the best Open World game I ever played - which says something, cause I love Open Worlds and played them almost all.

Its so great because the world is the absolute star in this game. Its not Link, its the world.
The feeling of being this lone adventurer trying to figure it all out has never been captured so incredibly well in my opinion.
Some claim the game is empty, but its not. Its just that this is not a game full of events, its more grounded and real in the sense of exploration.

You enter a forest and theres nothing...but then you start to look closer and you lift up stones and climb trees, find a cave and so on. Its never into your face.
The game is calm and silent and mysterious the whole way through. It doesnt restrict you at all. You could theoretically - after you managed to leave the starting plateau - run straight to Ganon and beat him.

Tears of the Kingdom is objectively bigger and better BUT in my opinion it is "overfeatured". I feel like it is too big and you can do too much. It is of course great, a technical miracle even. You cant even imagine to think of everything you could possibly do in this game. It is straight up insane.
But overall I still feel like BotW is better. For me at least.

Wait til you learn to read. I played all those games and it's nothing like in Breath of the wild.

Its all artificially crowded. Skyrim had not even one single empty looking spot on its whole map, same goes for Fallout 3, 4, New Vegas and so on.

Breath of the wild made you LOOK for it.

Ok.

If you'd like to count the greens for us, might be over 0.
Inb4 you cherry pick what empty means.

Cherrypicking? Yeah for sure. Theres a difference between empty and empty and I feel no need to explain the difference between Breath if the Wild and Fallout or Skyrim for you.

The Bethesda Games are a COMPLETELY different experience, not comparable at all. Hell, its not even the same genre*lol

I like those games a lot, I played Skyrim for Hundreds of hours, I played FO3 and New Vegas for countless hours, its not like I talk out of my ass here.

OP can read what I wrote and agree or not. No idea what you guys have to do with it anyways.

You're the one who made the claim I just provided the map with empty tiles you said had 0.
GC doesn't like being lied to.

"Theres a difference between empty and empty"

BOTW and TOTK are great games but they are empty for the sole reason that it is Nintendo and the Switch lacks power. Don't act like lifting rocks to find Korok seeds make the game exploration great.. Or throwing a bomb on an obvious destroyable rock to find a cave..
They don't make you look for much as every locations and findables always have hints for you to find them quite easily. Yes there is a lot to do/explore but it's not even comparable to Skyrim/Fallout.
That being said BOTW/TOTK creators did a great job within the limits they had.

Both games are STUFFED and nothing is empty in either of them*lol You just repeat a common misconception because you also forgot how to look - cant blame you, many did.

Funny how you make the technical aspect responsable for it, while the game is also full of dense areas apart from nature. You dont know what you're talking about.
