What do you mean by grow up? There are two ways people talk about this. The first is responsibility which should start before you are 20. As far being having child-like interests, there is no limit when talking about hobbies and activities that pass the time. A lot of people will tell you to grow up simply because they are miserable themselves. Having fun is a must throughout life.

Alright here's an example scenario that you can maybe relate to:

Let's say you REALLY enjoy collecting motel towels. It's your life hobby that you've discovered your love for during your teens.

You meet an awesome chick and you end up marrying her. Your new wife tolerates your motel towel collecting hobby, initially.

Let's say later down the road the two of you get into a heavy argument and she tells you to grow up and to stop collecting motel towels.
