this is why i'm trying to differentiate the two ideas by referring the the central core point (which actually doesn't work unless the Ball Earth is a perfect sphere which NDT said its not)
All objects have a central point, even if they aren't perfectly symmetrical like a sphere.
plus your point about the earth not being a perfect sphere is moot, as the flat earth isnt a perfect disc. if it was you might have a point, but hills are real.
