It isn't a lake. It's something else that gives the illusion of it being a lake.
As long as you look at it thinking it's a lake, your mind won't identify it.
Here's some clues:
1. Shadows of the plant can help
2. What looks like the coast at the other end is much brighter than the rest of the "lake". This is the reflection of the sun on the real surface.
3. Power lines over a lake? What?
4. It's all about perspective.
