Holy fuck, I actually burst out laughing.

We have a front-end dev here who made some art for an indie video game, including a map of their game world. I should go ask what sort of government approval they had to go through to make this map. Must have been crazy.
At least now I know she's for sure not a flat earther, since she made a map and they are not map makers. They would make for a great interview question to weed out flat earthers. "Yeah, could you just sketch a random map of something on the whiteboard real quick?". Wait, no, that would actually be a bad idea, since after the first interview we'd have FBI agents bursting in through the windows due to an unsanctioned, uncontrolled map being drawn.

i dont think the composition of the earths core or measurements of it are pure fact at all, only someone trying to desperately prove a point would assume the entire opposition is homogeneous in a category they need them to be to prove said point.

none of that changes anything i said though.

lets assume we're talking an actual sphere, and the earth isnt involved, all points are still the same distance from it's center, and therefore when someone travels on the sphere's surface they're neither travelling "up" nor "down". agree or disagree? and why?

Well science you need to divide into two thing - tangible science (that you can prove like computers and medicine) and astro theoretical science (which is really religious philosophy disguised as science)

As for History - none is doubting WW1 or 2 happened - as to why they happened there's much debate still.
