I'm eating old moose meat and it tastes like cardboard. It was frozen but it aged too much. I have to season it a lot to fade the bad taste.

Reminds me of this:

Lol. It's not rotten though. It did age too much though. Usually frozen meat is good for up to 9 months. Past that it's going bad slowly but surely.

Yeah. the seasoning thing is what reminded me and thought it was funny/similar.

I'm eating this year moose hunt harvest meat and it's very good. Yum
