Concept of asexual means that the feelings do not exist; i.e organism isn't even capable of sex, so its coined asexual. People just wanted to have a term and exaggerated it to chase away people or justify their low need for sex.
Honestly, I would consider myself asexual under those terminologies. But I understand that I am attracted to woman. I'm just not seeking to get into their pants like every other guy.
back in my preschool days asexual used to refer to something that could reproduce with itself, and had nothing to do with one’s sex drive. it’s since been repurposed to be able to label people with no sex drive i guess
