just ordered the compas box's 'lost blend' a recreation of their short lived eleuthra which was discontinued due to a lack of availability of one of the components. yes, its a blend. sounds very good though, a mix of cail ila, clynelish and one other for a subtly smoky but drinkable dram.

lets see if it lives up to the hype.

My recent pick-ups were the Dewars Ancestor and the Dalmore 12 year. Haven't tried the Ancestor yet, but the Dalmore definitely comes across as a desert drink with chocolate/coffee hints.
