I am not an atheist, I am agnostic. And I was "passing judgement" in response to the quote I quoted. I don't go around telling people how to live their lives but I do take offense when others impose their irrationality upon me. What do fail to realize is your religion caused as much damage as all the evil person's you mentioned. The difference is your religion disguises itself in a shroud of peace and love. Christianity is a dictatorship where the dictator is some invisible all knowing all controlling power. Do you see the irony????
You just go around telling people they should allow the government to tell them how to live. Woe to you hypocrite.
You're generalizing, the religion or christianity is good, I wouldn't blame the lense of science for bad scientists or scientism. Nor should you blame christianity for bad churches or it's distortion by evil powers.
Only satan disguises itself, humble christianity knows this. The irony is you are doing the very same thing that you allege that christianity is doing unto you.
You know not what you do, all praise is do.

take the one where he says love ur brothers n sister or wtv its the actual right quote
n the one where he says no homo allowed
did the church burned homos just for fun or were they following words of god as the good sheep they should be
The devil can masquerades as a church as well.
What about "the spirit is above the law"? did Jesus rest on the sabbath according to scripture? This was an abomination and reason the scribes and pharisees called him a member of Beelzebub.
The moral of the story is there are spiritual exceptions to rules that were made for spiritual purposes. Jesus found rest and gave other people rest in working while also being an exception.
God made rules seemingly to protect and better people not just to prohibit behaviors or for sake of in a close minded fashion.
So it is possible one can even kill unfortunately if it's god willed while also being a thou shall not. Likewise, it's possible one can engage in a same sex marriage and it can still be better or less worse than people treating each other horribly in a heterosexual marriage.
Neither glorifies god truly imo, it's matter of working w/ what is in a very disgruntled world. Old and New testament perspective changes if you're talking about things under an Apoc premise which is trial and tribulation more than avoidance of sin or forgiveness.
