Gravity is the force of attraction between multiple masses in space over time / Space-time.
The properties that gravity has can be simulated with velocity.

yes that is the most general definition
but one thing that gravity is not:
gravity is not the force of anything moving
gravity is a force that may cause bodies to move
Consider this for a second, if the earth has X mass/gravity, is spinning X velocity, and revolving around the sun at X velocity, and velocity has the same properties as gravity, then shouldn't Earths gravity be increased by its velocity?
Also, I would like to add, that as your velocity increases, so does your mass. According to relativistic physics, as you approach the speed of light your mass increases then becomes infinite as you hit the the speed of light.
This is interesting because it implies that velocity and gravity are both directly tied to mass and possibly vice versa.

I hate to argue in defense of card sultan on anything, but I mean, it's something that most people never consider when making calculations concerning gravity.
