Consider this for a second, if the earth has X mass/gravity, is spinning X velocity, and revolving around the sun at X velocity, and velocity has the same properties as gravity, then shouldn't Earths gravity be increased by its velocity?

Also, I would like to add, that as your velocity increases, so does your mass. According to relativistic physics, as you approach the speed of light your mass increases then becomes infinite as you hit the the speed of light.

This is interesting because it implies that velocity and gravity are both directly tied to mass and possibly vice versa.

no. gravity has nothing to do with velocity, or even acceleration for that matter. you have your cause and effect backwards. increasing velocity does not increase your mass.

velocity cannot have same properties as gravity; the units are different. those two things are fundamentally different and no one can say they are the same

Velocity is the reason they can simulate gravity on the space station.

And why the gravitron is so fun.

Its also why atomic clocks experiment has the results it does.

Its basic physics.

Gravity, velocity, mass, time are connected.
