I was trying to clean out my rig and I was using my torch to heat it, I must have gotten it too hot too fast or something cuz it just cracked out of the blue doing that, just having a heat source directly on the glass

Go to a pharmacy pick yourself up a bottle of 70+% isopropyl alcohol and use that to clean it next time, shouldn’t even need to heat your glass up. Mix with some hot water and some coarse salt if you need some abrasive qualities and she will be clean in a matter of seconds. I’ve made corks for each end of my piece so when I fill it with a bit of alcohol hot water and salt, I cap both ends and shake it like hell for 30 seconds and it’s all clean
