It's known. Many people die and are revived. My buddies dad is very religious and he had a heart attack and died. Was revived and he said there was nothing. Felt like he went to sleep and woke up 3 days later in the er.

but if you want to be fair then consider the vast amount of testimonies people give on the topic of near death and out of body experience.
