i know the catholics depict Jesus as white. but just because some one is a christian doesnt mean they are catholic. In scripture it doesnt describe Jesus very clearly. Its what he did thats important. please read a gospel (The four gospels that we find in the New Testament, are of course, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The first three of these are usually referred to as the "synoptic gospels," because they look at things in a similar way, or they are similar in the way that they tell the story.) some time and we can talk about scripture.
The Muslims do not portray Muhammad, in the movies you just hear his voice which is an interesting aspect.
A few weeks ago I was watching some documentaries on Jesus and how the books of the new testament were written far after his death as well as the role of Pilate and how the Romans wrote history.
My point is that I would think the accuracy of history to be paramount for a belief system, the single greatest aspect that blows my mind about the common believer is that they base their beliefs on very little if any empirical data.
Furthermore a Christian movie came on tv that portrayed God as both man and woman and almost every race.. i thought they were laying it on heavy lol..
