How much would I expect the ground to obscure a baseball across a 90 foot flat basketball court if I set the camera on the ground facing the baseball, also on the ground?

According to what you've said about perspective, we should expect the ball to appear obscured by the floor. I'd like to get a number before I do the experiment.
