Yeah my FE opinion has very little to do with the fact it was merely mentioned in the Hebrew/Abrahamic bible, even though many FE'ers are Bible thumpers.
And asking a Jewish scholar about the meaning of that word these days would be like asking OJ if he did it. The world is circle, not sphere with water held by Gravity.
Even in the Quran it says "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out"

Not really a fan of asking people who have a vested interest in what they tell you And any Jewish scholar worth his shekels knows he should say we live on a spinning ball.

Common sense should tell you that every other ancient culture across the realm believed in a flat Earth and since the Hebrew bible is just a collection of borrowed stories,

if someone is going to tell you their interpretation was something different, their as bent as a crooked mile.
