What do you mean by "the evidence lies within you and me" ? Do you mean there is a special note inside you that will explain everything?
Saying something is proof without demonstrating how it's proof is just another unsubstantiated assertion and you are back to square one.
Saying "I think therefore I am" --- ok good for you, but what does this have to do with anything?
Sounds to me like you don't have an answer and this is basically your final moments before you either dodge or have a malfunction and begin quoting me some obscure passage that has nothing to do with the question at hand.
Happy pride month.
Ahh that's right, when it comes to you I cannot simply give you the answer as you don't understand. I need to spoon feed you as you find it very difficult to grasp even the relatively simple things when it comes to Scripture.
I'll give you the verses before and after.
Genesis 1:26-28
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Being made in the image of God means that we as humans have dominion over the world and all the living creatures. The very first command that God gives to man is to make some babies. Then what? Fill the earth and subdue it.
Unless your pets or the ant colony outside your house has dominion over your entire life, you are made in the image of God as one who rules over the earth. That is why I say you, yourself are evidence as am I.
It's funny how the answer always lies in reading the Bible Passages in their full context.
