do you honestly believe that the ship won't come into full view when looking through a telescope? (provided the original pic/ship was viewed with the naked eye)
and if the answer is YES, does that mean that when you do SEE the ship in full view through a telescope, you will be 100% convinced the earth is flat and stationary?
Correct, the ship will NOT come into view no matter how much you zoom. You will only be able to see the same parts of the ship, but in greater detail. Prove me wrong, show me a counter-example.
I won't be 100% convinced right away, but it would greatly shake my confidence in spherical earth and would cause me to start looking for explanations on how this could be possible. I would certainly stop claiming that the earth is spherical while I search for a satisfactory explanation.

So do you think that ship is beyond the curve - that the reason it appears to be going down is that it traveled up to the horizon and is now going down the other side - cause its a ball right?
Correct.
