i picked up old pulteney the other week. been wanting to try it for a while. glad i finally did, its good stuff. not quite as good as lagavulin, but its up there. smoky but not super smoky.

also: having a killians for the first time in a while. good stuff. been getting various blue moons lately (mostly mountain abbey ale and rounders) but i picked up a bottle of killians for old times sake as that used to be my favorite. still good, tho i still like the mountain abbey ale a bit better i think.

picked up laphroig quarter cask. good stuff.

also, i tried yuengling after not having in a while. idk if it was a different type or what, but idk how i ever thought this was comparable to killians. wasnt as bad as buddumber, but definitely closer to that. oh well. been drinking blue moon lately anyway, they got good stuff. the new peach coriander seasonal one is surprisingly good...

wow, picked up a great new american whiskey:

its a scotch-style whiskey, but instead of using barley smoked with peat as typical in islay malts, they used mesquite wood to smoke some of it. gives it a great interesting flavor and its quite smooth even though only aged 2 years. good stuff...
