Obviously most of these responses are ignoring the story so I’ll write it out because it is important.

A school in Alabama (iirc) had a stupid amount of fights and stuff the first few weeks of school, like way more than normal. Because of this, a few fathers of the students have been volunteering their time to basically be hall monitors/mentors to the children. Since then, the amount of behavior issues has diminished to almost nothing and the kids are doing much better as a whole.

This is important because it shows how important fatherhood is to at risk kids.

Unfortunately saying fathers are important has somehow become a right wing left wing issue, which is fucking tragic, because we now have half of the US thinking parenting is basically not important and the other half is absolutely appalled by the notion.
