We fry everything here in Minnesota, too. Hell, our annual state fair is a cornucopia of fried foods on sticks (from corn on the cob to Snickers bars to Twinkies).

Nice, what's the go to frying oil?

Rapeseed is pretty cheap and good for 180-200 degrees Celsius
