yet. But it's only question of time and we already have our welfare immigrants. But yeah, I would stay away from France and Sweden due to "these issues" that aren't allowed to be discussed here. Especially since OP has a daughter if you know what I mean.

In Finland you can pretty much forget your guns. Full automatic guns are prohibited and even regular rifles are quite hard to get legally.

Why Finland

You'll do fine with english and nobody will give you problems for not talking finnish. Since you're native speaker I'd say you have no problems finding a job if you have some knowledge in any pretty much any field. Internet is really fine and schooling is free for your daughter. Free healthcare etc.

Why not Finland

Cold weather. It may not sound bad but if you're used to having more than ~3 months of warm it may be a problem in the long run. You'll be paying more taxes than in most countries.

Can't bring guns to Poland but goddamn you'll never be more safer anywhere than here. Are you afroamerican? That might be the only issue in certain districts of larger cities. Anyway, you might go everywhere here without worrying that you'll suffer from a terrorist attack. There hasn't been one since the 1600s :) Also, the country is cheap as fuck but overall seems a little poor and backwards in general.

Tbh I admire the polish attitude towards welfare immigrants. We need more people like them in Europe. Wouldn't want to work there because of the income and work ethics (at least in IT - compete by price and many unpaid hours) but yeah. Every polish I have known (1) is a nice guy so that's a plus too! He moved abroad to get better salary though xD

Polish people are the scum of europe tho, unfortunately.
I talked to many people from different countries, and I cannot recall any of them liking polish mentality or attitude.
U have to be born and grown polish to enjoy living there I guess.

Yes, I agree with both of you. The problem is that many poles who have emigrated once the EU borders were open were poorly educated or had trouble with the law. All the stereotypes about thieves, drunkards and racists are true. I was on holiday in both the Netherlands and England twice and believe me that apart from one pole who worked at the bank I was completely ashamed by how my fellow countrymen behaved. They act as if they are the rulers of europe, too much of that "white polish pride" attitude accompanied by being drunk all the time and not willing to learn foreign languages.

On the other hand there are many poles who are worth the trust as they'll take care of you and be very loyal. Men of honour to say the least.

In france people suck at english
people aren't obsessed with crime rates and owning guns
you pay more taxes but you get stuff like free school and we don't let you die when something happens to you and you don't have an insurance,
pretty much everyone agrees that people who live in Paris are assholes (I live in Paris)
if you have something against arabs, avoid mediterranean cities. This probably goes for other countries
you'll certainly encounter the usual racist grandpa that doesn't like anything, including americans, I guess it wouldn't be any different elsewhere
it's much less religious. There is a christian history, there are churches everywhere, but having "in god we trust" written on bills or the president using a bible during an official ceremony would be outrageous

finland is supposed to have the best education system (so public school) but here I'm just repeating stuff I heard

gl

never thought u were fr too
I second this, but if you go to france, don't go to paris: go to belgium! (rest does not worth it)
Else I would suggest you to stay in sweiss, it's a great country if you can afford it :)

Also how is your daughter gay ? i'd like to understand. she is a teen but you're under 30 yourself ? luls

I was young man like 13 or 14. Welcome to Detroit. Her psycho mother was like 17. I am a Oreo and shes also Hispanic. Can't tell I'm black though. More white with permanent tan.

Thought about Sweiss but I do a lot of my work here so its not really new.

Most Eastern European countries are out. I feel like most of them are behind Western European countries.

Glad you think that way. Its true, unfortunately.
Got few polish colleagues thay have the same opinion.
Seeing polish people here in Ireland that live here for 10-15 years with absolutely no ability or good will to speak english makes me cringe. If I moved and lived in Japan, I’d at least know basics of language after 10 years lol.
