I do see his point even though it is very hard to not hate and be disgusted by people with such urges. It would suck if you had those thoughts and didn’t act on them and sought out help to control the feelings and you still got attacked. Same with murder thoughts maybe? Maybe that’s why those people don’t seek help.

This is a specific topic about people with sexual urges towards children not just “mental struggles” in general. It might be easy for you personally to not be disgusted by people with such urges but you can’t really speak for anyone else.

I do agree a judgemental society does make these people’s problem worse but at the same time I feel judgemental towards it. Major kudos to anyone who has the courage to not only admit these urges but also seek professional help
