Thinking about buying this. They want $1200. Thoughts?

I love mountain bikes. Had a work one (cheap if it gets run over or stolen) and an off-trail one while living in Vancouver. But, if it is riding on the street, I suggest a road bike. But, if you want to do both, then that Transition is at a good price as they go for anywhere between 2700 to about 8k USD.

I suggest doing a quick look on Facebook's Marketplace to see if the price can be lower. And, if you do buy it, ask to see if they have the original higher seat post as that short post is for going downhill on mountains and for tricks. Have fun! I love my street bicycle. It's not a top tier, but does all that I need.

I believe we have a resident user who spent like 10k+21.99% apy interest on a bike recently for his hobby jumping phase.

One time a resident moved out and took his bike to the trash room. It was in perfect working condition. I looked it up and it was worth $1k+. Sold it to one of our painters for like $200. Easiest money I ever made.

Get an electric folding mountain bike on Amazon for $400-500, I bought one a few years ago and love riding it on the trails and fits in the backseat of a car easily, just put some big black trash bags over the tires and smaller bags over the pedals to keep your vehicle clean.

I totally would but I like the workout. If I didn’t have the car I’m making insane payments on, I would go with electric bike for transportation but, it’s too late lol! The devil has my balls tangled up in his horns. It’s grown on me though.

Question though. Which bike is it you’re talking about? My uncle just got his 7th dui lmao and he needs different means of transportation

There's a few different types and you can turn the electric motor off or use it with pedal assist mode and still get a workout from it like you were riding a stationary bike at the gym
