It has nothing to do with you controlling his actions. If the fact that you are completely fine with his actions and choose to be his friend anyway, despite all the horrible things he says and does around here.

Having control over someone was never the issue and it was never implied, it's obvious deflection on the real issue of
associating with the people you claim to hate.
I feel like holding your moral value's is a big part of "growing up." If we're gonna go that route.

Either way is fine but you can't have it both ways for the sake of benefiting yourself.
