I scalpel the tongue down the middle then suture both sides to make sure it doesn't heal back together. Made that mistake the first tongue I ever split. I didn't suture it and it just healed back together so much that just the very top of her tongue was split

I'll let them answer how they do it but that stuff is wild, heals pretty cleanly too (I suppose obviously when done by a professional like loip)

Yea I numb the tongue completely with lidocaine first. But the healing process does suck. The tongue stays swollen for about a month or so

I had 2 1/2” ears, I don’t wear plugs or tunnels anymore so they’re just permanently 1 1/2” holes 😁

Yea I haven't had jewelry in my ears for about 10 years as well. My conches and nostril are the only ones I have now. Filling my body up with tattoos instead.

That's cool man! I didn't even know people stretched their conches like that! I would imagine stretching cartilage like that would be pretty uncomfortable but worth it for the look!

cant stretch cartilage..well I guess technically you could. I used a 0g dermal punch. like a cookie cutter for the skin. It basically punched the entire cartilage out. so there was no stretching involved, just a dermal punch. And the cartilage doesnt grow back so its like that forever now haha. The skin around it can heal up, but the cartilage is gone

Ohhhhhhhh! That makes sense! So do you start with a small punch and then increase size gradually or just go straight to 0g?
