Batman is slow in his reactions. It is his tech which compensates for his slow decision making is. Batman often just pounds the villain when he is pounded. Spiderman thinks and problem solves while in a conflict or while in the midst of a huge rescue event. Don't let his youthful representation in films fool you. In one old story/comic/cartoon, he even went to an evil dimension to outthink its evil god. That story was called "Revolt in the Fifth Dimension". Batman pales compared to Spiderman's adaptability and quick on his webbed feet thinking. Can you tell I am seriously biased?
