67k though. What in the boomer price is that? Guess some areas really are significantly cheaper.

I live in a pretty remote town, closest "city" is 2 hours away.
Price of living is cheap here, if you're making over 80k a year in my town you're living more than comfortable.
As long as you can stand to be in a population of 10k or lower you'll be fine here.

Living more remote can be fun. I really want to live away from people.

Currently forced to live in a large city for work related reasons. It's pretty but there are so many people... and most of them aren't nice.

On topic: I'm lucky enough to actually own my house, feels like humble bragging though.

I've lived in 2 big cities.
I like always having something to do, but not enough to justify the prices of doing those things.
I moved here to hopefully retire early, and my fiance wanted to get a degree at the university here.
I'm comfy in my tiny town.

I didn't really believe the statement myself after thinking about it.
There's some severe problems with economy right now in the US.
It was unsympathetic and rude, as I participate in the same society.
