Actual recorded practices of kings in Egypt:
-Murdering slaves at the time of kings demise, so that they would accompany him to the afterlife, was a common practice in Egypt for a long long time.
Knowing this fact, location of the tomb could in the same way be perfectly explained by keeping the slaves near their master when they arrive in the afterworld.
