You have to, there's a strict dress code which is a pain as shorts and t shirts would be gold, it's usually really hot.

Horse racing has a bunch of completely artificial wankiness, which basically says I'm better than you because I have more money. It's disgusting, but I enjoy the event aside from the douches.
