Talisker storm is growing on me. Or its benefited from being open. Either way, had it a few times over the past couple days and enjoyed it.

so, the final verdict of talisker storm is: its good, but since i can get lagavulin at a comparable price, and theyre fairly similar flavor profiles, but lagavulin is better, i might as well go for the lagavulin.

finished a few bottles over the weekend that were running low. i made sure to put them on the top of the recycling. the neighbors probably thing we had a party or something...



the lagavulin and ardbeg we already have more of, the others idk if ill be replacing. the balcones was ok. a bit too bourbony tasting for my palate, although my wife liked it. not enough to want to buy it again, tho. the storm was ok, but as mentioned above id rather have lagavulin. the balvenie id buy again but not for a while as its pretty expensive.
