As for my rebuttal:
1) I believe everyone should make up their own mind at their own pace so yes when presented with any new argument it's imperative that the listener investigate all sources and credibility.
2) as far as I'm concerned you have not presented me personally with credible facts, because in my opinion our arguments are non empirical in nature (cannot be measured) so fundamentally I already have drawn some conclusions with the known basis that where I start my analysis, that starting point must be drawn in relation to the rest of the world ie. the theory of relativity by Einstein (i read the book too) therefore it's subject to some bias however minimal
3) I don't care about how the canyon formed, because I feel those questions are only appropriately answered by those who have spent their lives in that field

4) I never said I was I thought the Bible was false.. I'm agnostic which means I'm neutral. In fact it's been a dream of mine to tour the world as a spiritual scholar...
5) replace god with self? What? I just want to live a peaceful existence. I want to find the truth like everyone else but I won't fool myself into false belief, I would rather die wondering because that's all I've ever done about religion.
That I do agree with. If I am told some news then I would go and ask 2 or 3 other people to see if they tell me the same thing. That gives the story more...solidarity. It's not necessarily that I do not believe what I am told, it's because I believe that I go out and want to find out more. If I didn't believe then I wouldn't pursue.
Alright then, what Biblical topic do you wish to argue? Is there any particular passage that you find hard to believe?
Those who have spent their lives in that field, you can read their findings online. Easily accessible information in this day and age.

That's why I ask what research you have done or whom you have asked about these things? I guarantee that some people will gladly play 20 questions with you all day.
