I like to think my mind is my own. I'm agnostic because the world is full of possibilities. I'm vegan because there is something sacred about all life regardless of the form it takes. I'll admit sometimes I don't think much about a post while posting it but in my defense it's the internet. You asked about my own mind and my honest answer is I go with what my 5 senses tell me and from that I can say I have had no supernatural experience or any reason to believe in anything other than natural science. I have a tendency to be blunt but I believe that to do a right any human should have. If you or any party claims fact x or fact y then I should be able to claim fact z. My experience has shown religion to be a false complication on what is really an easy life.. at least in the modern age. Being concerned with God or the afterlife is nonsense because it's all predicated on an assumption.

Let's go down that lifestyle. What if I told you that your entire life, from the day you were born all the way up to the present day. Everything you have ever said and done; it doesn't mean a thing. That is the reality that I went through one day and that was before I read Ecclesiastes. You will soon realize that your entire life is meaningless and serves no purpose. You life can be like that of a Butterfly, you are only here on this Earth for a very short time before you return to dust. Then you will be long forgotten with only 2 dates on your tombstone; a date of Birth and a date of Death.

That is the truth and the truth hurts.

Why is always assumed that a person who doesn't believe in God resolves the world to be without meaning? A creator is not a prerequisite for all the joy and beauty in the world. The concept of a creator makes less sense than the concept of no creator and both cases are assuming quantities and qualities that cannot be known. Unfortunately you are compelled to make assumptions based on what little evidence you have gathered in your life. Which is nothing in the scope of the universe. Furthermore you resolve to put your opinion as fact and then apply it to my life as if it were fact.

We have been over the same argument a dozen times. What you think about God and the afterlife only exists in your mind as a collection of minor facts and assumptions about the physical world.

Do you not know that Hell is the absence of God? God is the source from which all the good things come in life. You take away God then you take away all the good things along with him. Why do you use the word assume? Do you not have the concept of all the research that has been done before you?
