lets talk about science since no one else will. if a person is to be "scientific" it is necessary to be at least just a little bit inquisitive. for example if you are raised to believe the earth is round and some one comes around later and says its flat. the proper course of action is to at least hear out the person/idea. if you did this you would be familiar with the flat earth model and you would see that it has problems and you could argue from a position of understanding instead of emotion.
