It is still an existential question. What do you say to a person who is visually blind about the nature of the Earth? I could argue this metric of proof is based on vision and if our eyes can be fooled by any number of novelties, it stands to reason that our entire system could be biased from the inside out as a consequence of our biology. As far as the flat Earth problem is concerned, the burden is on the round Earth theory for the same reason.. only our sight suggest the Earth is actually round and the local macroscopic view makes it appear flat. And if you study the eye, it acts in many ways like a camera with the ability to shift focus and distort (focus) light rays. These facts call into question what is real and how we define real.

Don't get me wrong, flat Earth theory is nonsense with our capability of knowledge. However, some still make a strong case where the answer is not obvious. Unfortunately, trolls will use any issue of strong debate to troll and make foolish statements.

I haven't ate snails nor do I plan on doing so as its not part of my culture.
But what's the difference in eating pork, dog, chicken, beef, snail, frogs or grasshopper?
Different cultures, different diet. What's disgusting to you is a delicacy somewhere else and vice versa. Average european would get a stroke in a week by eating what an average american eats. But eat what's part of your culture if thats what fulfills you, whether its snail for french or fast food 5 days a week for americans
