you know that a curved rainbow is visible after rain outside
you know a curved mirror type surface is responsible for creating this rainbow
you can't see the firmament, but you know it is there
YOU show ME proof, that it isn't the firmament creating the rainbow....

As I said earlier, I know for a fact that a mirror is not needed.

I tried this when I was 11, in my parents' garage with a bright spot light and a mist showerhead. But since that's just an anecdote, it's not a valid argument and I try not to bring it up.

Fact remains that you have not proven that a mirror is needed, and that if a mirror were needed, you have not proven that this mirror exists in the form of a dome.

My point: a rainbow can be created through raindrops alone.
Your point: a rainbow can be created through raindrops, if there's also a mirror present.

You're yet to point prove any of the things you're saying.

All that's needed to make a rainbow is white light and a means of diffusing that light into its components.

but search around for "Rainbows are actually circles" and you'll see that they aren't actually dome shaped
They are diffused white light, not reflected white light, in a perfect circle. Too bad we are normally too low on the ground to see the full phenomena.

we have been over and over this argument throughout this thread, regarding rainbows
the challenge was set way back through these pages, asking someone to post video proof showing a rainbow being created indoors with no mirror source.
NO-ONE has been able to meet this challenge........just keeps being dodged and then someone ultimately changes the subject.........like asking why is the sky blue for example
