If I say prayer was studied and shown to be worthless or even detrimental, and your next point is that I'm committing an sweertion fallacy.

You are wrong.

I'll give you the W, tired of arguing with an idiot

nothing is true because you say its true lets see the study.

You realize prayer has been tested ? On sick people. It worked at a rate no better than chance when the people didn't know they were being prayed for. And when they knew, it worked worse.

Have you heard of the parable of the Drowning Man? Probably not as it isn't in The Bible.

There once lived a man in a small village. One day there was a massive downpour of rain and the village began to flood. Everyone had to evacuate but the man refused to leave. The water was up to their ankles when along came another man who said to him: "You've got to come with me!" To which the man replied "No, I'm waiting for The LORD to come and save me."
The water kept coming down hard and kept on rising and the man was sitting on his room. Along came a man who was riding a camel who said to him: "You've got to come with me!" To which the man replied "No, I'm waiting for The LORD to come and save me."
The water kept coming down hard and kept on rising. The water had reached the roof of the house where the man was barely able to sit. Along came a man who was riding a boat who said to him: "You've got to come with me!" To which the man replied "No, I'm waiting for The LORD to come and save me."
The water kept on rising and the man drowned and died. Then he met The LORD and he asked him: "Why didn't you save me?"
The LORD replied: "I sent you a man, I sent you a camel and I sent you a boat. What more do you want?"

As for a Bible verse to go with this: 2 James 14-26 - "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”

Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.

In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead."

Prayer without action is meaningless. You can pray for the sick but that doesn't mean you stop all medical treatment. I didn't stand and do nothing after I prayed. I showed that I put my trust in The LORD and it worked.

Verse 17 - Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Yes, as it says in Colossians 3:1-4 - "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory."
