Flat earthers are pretty much at the "I know everything" point when it comes to science and physics

a 4000 mile river that runs north has no problem on the flat earth model.
it only becomes a problem on a spinning ball earth model that has 8 inches of drop (curvature) every mile according to spherical geometry with a magical invisible force that cancels the physics of water always seeking its level and somehow curves to the surface.
but keep laughing because you don't understand how to explain it away and it triggers ur cognitive dissonance.

Flat earthers responded to DeGrasse Tyson's question about Mars and told him Mars was globe shaped.

I've asked him who benefits from this lie too. Governments and corporations profit from war, so they lie about why we have to go to war.

But this lie?? Every scientist in every country on this whole entire planet stretching back centuries is lying?!

The amount of energy, time and money it would take to keep this lie perpetuating seems staggering to me and in my estimation noone is getting on board this colossal global cover up without gaining something from it.
