Thinking in terms of gradients is definitely not a natural thing for humans. It takes some training so I understand why it's hard for them to grasp concepts like this.

Until I took chemistry and learned about gas theory I didn't understand why the atmosphere didn't get sucked off either. That being said, I learned about gas theory and applied it to the idea about the atmosphere without having to be explicitly told it applied to the atmosphere. That's the difference it seems, they can only parrot ideas as they apply to very specific circumstances. They aren't able to generalize and apply theoretical knowledge critically to make a wider model. They will say "it works this way in a picture but not in video" while not realizing that videos are just a series of still pictures and follow the exact same rules.

Thing is it's not about science but about religion. Religion makes you lose common sense if you're too deep into it.
My nephew doesnt know anything about trigonometry or religion but still knows thngs aren't flat by nature

Yep, just a theory, meaning make believe or not true until proved.

fact is a vacuum requires a container. are u able to define the word container?

The computer you are using right now was designed using electrical theory, and the recommendation to brush your teeth is based on germ theory.

These are theories, yet they undoubtedly produce working devices.

Go ahead and scratch your head for a while over that.

I'll give you another head scratcher.

The density of the atmosphere decreases as you go increase your altitude.

How do you calculate how thin it will be at a specific altitude?

The gas theory I referenced produces calculations that almost perfectly predicts the pressure at any given altitude. Using that theory, if you were to go 50000 miles away from earth's surface there would be so little atmosphere you could only realistically call it a vacuum.

your ignorance and deflection gets so tiring.
I also have a theory that you are a compulsive liar...

this flat earth global triangle square thread in the dark matter. Might beat earth record in jsp? What is record for longest thread?

Nope, everything I said is obscenely well documented in the scientific literature, and if you want you can look it up and repeat their measurements. The derivation can be found in just about any chemistry book and the data that backs it up is well over 100 years old now.

In a general chemistry course you will learn about the ideal gas law, and that equation is obscenely accurate for anything but super high or super low pressures, and if you want you can find more complete equations that predict pressures under just about any condition you could imagine.

I'm curious about this too.

Could it be longest in history?

I'm on page 250. Pretty fascinating actually.

unfortunately writing numbers and symbols on a chalkboard means absolutely nothing and only proves the ability to draw.
making up theories and guessing about things, claiming to be scientific also means absolutely nothing and is not a form of proof.

Nah, all the data is insanely well documented. If you were willing to do research you would see that.
