well, knowing what i have learned about misinformation we were told in school that people back before colombus thought the earth was flat because they were un educated, but the people who i have met in person and via this thread don't seem to lack the basis for understanding but more so don't accept what theyre told by mainstream but seem to interpret the same information with more of an open mind
like can you see how if the camera lenses effect the picture why just accept what your told and see. you can trick the eye but as far as breaking apart the facts and learning just how closed minded someone can be by just accepting that cgi is a representation of the actual image
might sound crazy and i might be strarying from the truth a bit looking at a bigger picture but i thought it was odd how different countries all have a different cgi image of the earth and it made me wonder what it really looked like
might be crazy but i like to take the long way around instead of take everyones word for it
Nothing wrong with the long way around, to be sure. I just haven't been able to puzzle out who would benefit from this lie.
Iraq gas weapons of mass destruction, oh wait no they dont, but they have a shit ton of oil! Big lies perpetrated by governments seem to produce wealth. I guess when one thinks of all the humans, all the way back to the Sumerians who understood the planets and their orbits, the great pyramid and the earth's dimensions encoded in it, it turns this conspiracy theory into literally the biggest lie in history. Aside from religion I suppose, but maybe even bigger. That's ALOT if lying. I want to know who benefits.
Noone is going to logistically perpetuate this lie without massive gains just based on the massive expense of keeping us 'indocrinated'.
So while I agree with your long way around sentiment, i still struggle to see who benefits from this greatest lie ever told.
Not even Zeitgeist says the earth is flat. I think they would have mentioned that lol.
