Alienware sales are pretty good
I’d save maybe 150$ with a less aesthetic case and hours of time lost building it is way more than 150$ loss.
5090 alone is like 3k rn since they aren’t selling at msrp.
Plus every alien I bought still works zero issues ever.
The one pc i built had problems and had to send parts in for warranty then wait weeks for it to come back etc, pain in the butt
I understand the reasoning behind prebuilt, but I'm not paying someone 400+ to build a PC on top of receiving some third party RAM that isn't even clocked correctly or them charging me +65 bucks to flip XMP on in BIOS to give me my RAM speeds I paid for.
Make sure you check stuff like that, ie: You bought 6000mhz DDR5 RAM, but when you check your speeds you're sitting at 2400 default. Expo or XMP depending on AMD or Intel ofc.
One of my biggest pet peeves I see when I get my hands on a prebuilt is RAM speeds. You paid $300 for this RAM and you've been running it on 2400mhz? $25 stick would have been fine for you..
Almost no reason to overclock anything anymore which is cool, we seem to be in the age of undervolting now with the insane power consumption of these gpu/cpu's now.
