Our perception of the relative shape of the universe is limited by our senses. Humanity doesn't have the means of detecting the true shape of an object within the universe.

When superior aliens finally contact us and we ask them what shape the Earth is, their reply will be "Uhh, the question doesn't make sense because the universe doesn't work that way. Humans are only projecting their idea of "shape" onto objects that have mass"
