So, in terms of us all coming from the same one celled ancestor, I'm not buying it. Evolution on that scale, for me is so preposterous that it hurts my brain to think about. But evolution no matter how you look at it, can not explain how even the single celled organism the theory claims we all come from, came into existence.
Literally, from inorganic material, to organic material. Even if you believe that every living thing on earth came from that single beginning, which is ridiculous lol, science still doesn't explain how life was formed. How inorganic became organic.
Creation theory sounds as appealing as evolution on the surface. But soon, I began to understand that while there may indeed be some kind of intelligence that we can't understand, much like a worm in your backyard doesn't understand us, what all the religious texts around the world boil down to, is money. Pure and simple.
Are there histories in those ancient texts? Absolutely. But there is also an underlying theme of control by the use of fear against the masses of people who don't want to think. They want to be told what to do. Told how to act. Told how to conduct their lives. Much of the human population is this way. And there are those who would seek to exploit those masses by threatening hell and damnation for all eternity.

As far as flat earth goes, will someone tell me who benefits from the enormous amounts of money spent in perpetuating this lie!?!??! Governments around the world. Shipping magnates. Airline companies. People who make trillions a gazillions of dollars by navigating our earth say its round. All the instruments and observable movements tell us its round. What does anyone gain from keeping the fact that it is flat a secret?????
