Fascinating if there truly are people who think the earth is flat. Absolutely fascinating.

Annoying if it's just for some perverse need for attention.

Its a compulsive need to feel superior. That is the clear motivation for pretty much every flat earther ive interacted with. I'm sure there are some that are just gullible or uninformed though.

Who gains from this lie sir? Who gains from the enormous amount of energy and logistics and money needed to make billions upon billions of people believe this lie?

Remember, this lie stretches way way way back into human history, if it is to be believed that we are in fact being lied to and the earth is flat, not spherical.

My God the depth and magnitude of this lie is astounding!

After first hearing about the FE back in 2016 (and mocking it like you) I decided to look into it and ended up doing months of extensive research.
This led me to the truth about the FE and ultimately led me to Jesus and being Born Again in Christ.

Not everyone who believes in the FE is religious though, and it is of my opinion (only) that they simply didn't research enough.
It seems quite clear to me that they have been hiding God for the last 500 years with the heliocentric model.

I don't think I am mocking it. I am truly fascinated that people believe this. I think the questions I've asked and the points I've raised are intelligent and not mocking in the slightest. I honestly don't understand who stands to gain from this enormous lie.


Say for a moment you are right and the earth is flat. Can you imagine the magnitude of thought and organization and funds that would have to be allotted to spreading this lie. I keep coming back to the same question. Who gains?

Vast amounts of money is generated through wars, so we are lied to about reasons why we need to go to war with this country or that country but it all boils down to generating money.

Who is generating income from this lie of all lies? Lying to the public about why Iraq needs to be invaded or why Vietnam must be fought is an investment for the manufacturers of bombs.

Who is lying to us about the earth being flat an investment for? Noone is going to spend the vast amounts of money it would take to perpetuate this lie without seeing a return on their dollar. Who are they?

I'm afraid I don't share your belief in Jesus. Being raised a catholic helped me understand that money is what drives that lie as well.
