I wasn't on call after the holiday weekend, got back today and nothing got done.
The days after the holidays are the fucking worst.
It's like cool I get a short week and a extra day but fuck, why is there outstanding issues lined up till Friday every fucking time.
I know that answer, actually. Co-worker decided he wanted to just come to work and fuck off because I wasn't here.

That’s the sad truth actually.. people ask us why we work holidays sometimes and it’s the same answer. Because if I take this Friday off next week is going to be a fucking train wreck that will continue to spill over into the following weeks untill that “holiday” is made up.
