But on the other side of the coin its then not unreasonable to assume they would spend that amount to hide the truth of FE if the earth was flat, they wanted to prevent the truth getting out and
they would be out to get you if you found the real truth

Pour argon into a beaker, it stays in the beaker because its heavy and pushes the normal atnosphere out. You can prove it because you cant light a match in the beaker afterwards.

This also shows that heavier gas is affected more by gravity

Its funny how your objections can be answered with first year chemistry demonstrations.
