marketplace -> transfer -> select character to send to -> put item in box -> click transfer.

You don't have to pay to transfer between characters. If you want a vault it costs x amount depending on how big the vault you want.

With the vault you wont have to constantly swap out characters to transfer gear as your main levels.

A poor man's method. I can accurately attest. I've never used the item vault before. A monthly fee is too rich for my blood. Only the Bill Gates of D2jsp can use it.
